Jerry Brown earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago and his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota School of Law. While in law school, he was a managing editor for the Journal of Law & Inequality. Jerry is also an adjunct professor at The John Marshall Law School, where he teaches Remedies, Federal Courts, Moot Court and Legal Drafting.
Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois, Jerry is admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Trial Bar of the Northern District of Illinois; U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit; and the United States Supreme Court.
Jerry is a member of the Cook County Bar Association (Chair of Judicial Evaluations Committee, 2012-present), Chicago Bar Association (Real Estate Tax Committee and Chair of Energy and Telecommunications Committee 2009-2010), and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
